    Delivering news to 59 communities, BubbleLife® Media is the largest online provider of daily neighborhood news to in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. BubbleLife uses a combination of proprietary technology and its own editors to aggregate, curate and deliver targeted hyperlocal neighborhood news and events. Readers get their news from BubbleLife’s website - BubbleLife.com, from its Facebook or Twitter sites, or delivered daily via email newsletter. Over 3 million newsletters are delivered monthly.

     

    Tim was responsible for user growth, as well as sales and marketing for the company.

     

    2011 - 2012: WhatYouCan.do - advisor

    WhatYouCan.do is a proprietary platform used by non-profits, universities, clubs and other organizations to raise money online from donors and their donors' social graphs.

     

    Tim advised the company on strategy and sales.

     

    2010 - 2013: 2ndLAW Media - co-owner & managing principal (sold company in 2013)

    2ndLAW Media is a full service interactive agency that assists it's partners with executing online advertising and media campaigns with real results and that generate real dollars. With a primary focus on lead generation, it's proprietary strategies work cohesively with traditional media. Large client channels included the medical community and sub-prime loans.

     

    Tim was responsible for P&L, all aspects of the daily management, strategic direction and revenue growth for the company.

     

    2007 - 2009: SWS Group (at the time NYSE: SWS) - executive vice president & executive management committee member

The Clearing Services segment provides clearing and execution services for other broker/dealers comprising general securities broker/dealers and firms specializing in high-volume trading. This segment also offers tailored services, including recordkeeping, trade reporting, accounting, general back-office support, securities and margin lending, reorganization assistance, and custody of securities.

    Served on parent company's Executive Management Committee. Member of the company's IT Steering and New Products Committees.

    Sponsored development and deployment of first broker workstation for use by correspondent clients (technology was also used by internal Retail Division brokers).

     

    2007 - 2009: Southwest Securities (at the time NYSE: SWS) - executive vice president & head of Clearing Services Division

    Tim was head of the Clearing Services Division with P&L responsibility for the division. He was responsible for all daily activities for Southwest’s clearing, execution, settlement and financing services to the broker dealer and RIA communities. He served on the parent company's Executive Management Committee and was a member of the company's IT Steering and New Products Committees.

     

    2004 - 2007: Merrill Lynch (at the time NYSE: ML) - managing director & head of sales, marketing and relationship management for Broadcort division

    Merrill Lynch offers sales and trading services for securities and derivative products in primary and secondary markets; market-making, financing, securities clearing, settlement, and custody services to institutional investor clients; and risk management products.

     

    Tim was head of the Sales and Marketing Team for Broadcort and Money Manager Services (MMS), divisions of Merrill Lynch & Co. Responsible for the daily management of all sales, marketing and relationship management activities for Broadcort and MMS’s clearing, execution, settlement and financing services for equities, options and futures to the broker dealer and RIA communities. In addition, he oversaw sales and marketing for Broadcort’s direct market access (DMA) electronic trading offering.

     

    1997 - 2004: ABN AMRO Incorporated - executive director (division sold in 2004 to Merrill Lynch)

    Tim was responsible for the daily management of all global marketing activities for ABN AMRO’s Clearing and Execution Services Division (AACES). AACES was comprised of the Correspondent Clearing, Electronic Execution, Prime Brokerage, Global Futures and Market Maker Clearing Groups. These groups provided clearing, execution, settlement and financing services for the equities, options, futures and foreign exchange markets.

     

    He was also Business Unit Head of Electronic Equity Execution Services, including P&L responsibility, strategic planning, finances, business development, product development and client service. He grew revenue by $58 million from 1996 to 2000.
